Dragon*Con Bound

DragonConLogoRight, my intrepid readers, I am off to the city with the lowest membership numbers for the William Tecumseh Sherman fanclub — yes, Atlanta, home of that yearly geek debauch Dragoncon. I have a camera and a newly acquired netbook, but whether I will use them to bring you an insightful and penetrating con report, or whether I will be paralyzed to inaction at the sight of all those scantily-clad fangrrrls remains to be seen and is, in all probability, mostly dependent how many energy drinks I manage to scarf.

For any of you that may be attending and would like to cross paths and are maybe wondering what I look like, here is a photo of Lee Van Cleef:

I envy you, and not just because of all those “scantily-clad” ladies (so, well…okay that is a pretty hefty percentage of why, but still). Do hope to read some coherent coverage of the con, and photos wouldn’t hurt. Have fun. Jason

Thanks Jason, I’m here right now with the other formidable Jason, the Waltzing kind, enjoying some Holiday Inn wi-fi.

It’s the calm before the storm.

‘Energy drinks’? That’s what you’re calling them?

Did you spend your evening hiding from Accordion Girl and signing books for Jason?

It was great to meet both of you at the Writer’s Panels. I’ve already leafed through the anthology and am getting ready to dive in soon!

Thanks, Jaym — great to meet you, too. But, in the interest of full disclosure, I have to point out that I was actually looking for Accordion Girl, so maybe it was she who was hiding from me . . .

Let us know how you like ‘Behemoth,’ I look forward to checking out your own work soon.
