rome hboOver at Black Gate today I posted a quick notice about the rumors that have been swirling around about a film sequel to HBO’s rather awesome Rome series, which ran for two seasons. While a Rome movie has been more or less an open secret for some time, it’s nice to see it back in the news and apparently moving forward in all good haste. I’m certainly looking forward to catching up with Lucius Vorenus and Titus Pullo when the day arrives, and may actually brave the idiocy and wanton rudeness of the local cineplex to see this movie.

I hadn’t heard a Rome movie was a possibility, cheers for the heads up. I hope the Beeb do more joint productions with HBO, and I wish I could get HBO in here the UK. I’ve yet to see a HBO show I didn’t like, and most of them I love.

I LOVED that series! I was so sad when they stopped making it. Of course, it did end at a logical place. Anyway, a movie might be cool. Depends on the story…
